Redbox To Add Video Games...and TV Shows?

Well, it finally happened. It looks like Redbox will finally be adding video game rentals. According to a post over at Joystiq, Redbox will be rolling out video game rentals to thousands of its kiosks around the US. Games will cost $2 a night. Redbox has already been testing game rentals in certain markets. This is great news for us gamers, though there is one big drawback to this. Most games typically take longer than a day to finish, and $2 a night is a bit steep. For a avid video game renter, it would probably be cheaper to go with Blockbuster Online.

You can check out a list of games here.

In other rental news, Redbox seems to have added TV shows to their list of DVD rentals. Though if you do a zip code search, none of these titles seem to be avaliable to rent.
